Lucky Grace Isingizwe is a Rwandan writer and editor. Her work has appeared in Redemption Song and Other Stories, the 2018 Caine Prize anthology (The Weaving of Death), Writivism’s 2019 anthology, Unbreakable Bonds (Losing Your Mind) published by Centre for African Cultural Excellence, 8th House Publishing’s 2022 Anthology of East African Literature edited by Beatrice Lamwaka and Josh Mali (Raised by the Rod), Flame Tree Publishing’s 2024 African Ghost stories anthology (Come Play with Us), Huza Press’ 2024 Bald Dandelions With Their Wishes Blown Clean Off anthology (Before the Malice Began, There Was Beauty), Between Wild and Free: A Book of Power, published by online cultural content magazine, Andariya, and in the 2021 Eastern African Literary and Cultural Studies journal issue (Down River Road 01: Place, a journal issue review). As an editor, she co-edited Bald Dandelions With Their Wishes Blown Clean Off and a forthcoming anthology at Huza Press. And she served as the essay guest-editor for the 6th Issue of African literary platform, Lolwe, published in December 2022. A graduate at Mount Kenya University, Lucky Grace has a BA in Communication and Mass Media, and from June 2017 to June 2024, she worked with Huza Press across editorial, design, marketing and sales.
